New community service at the pharmacy:    pharmacy

From 15th January 2018 community pharmacists will be able to treat the following conditions.

  • Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated) in ladies between the ages of 16 - 65 years.
  • Impetigo 

If you have symptoms of either of these please call your local pharmacy.

Appointments may be booked in advance.

If an appointment is required on the day please call at 8.30am as we reserve a number of appointments for patients the same day as they call.  You may have a little while to wait as it is a queing system please be patient and stay on the line, if you lay down the phone you go to the back of the queue.

Should the surgeries be full, urgent appointments may be fitted in at the discretion of the consulting GP.



telephoneTelephone Consultations are available and may be appropriate for chronic illness, discussing test results, some follow-on sick lines, medication queries and advice on how to treat minor ailments.

If you think you would like a telephone consultation, please advise reception when you book.  Please note reception staff may need to ask you about the nature of your problem in order to assess whether this type of appointment is appropriate.
