New community service at the pharmacy:    pharmacy

From 15th January 2018 community pharmacists will be able to treat the following conditions.

  • Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated) in ladies between the ages of 16 - 65 years.
  • Impetigo 

If you have symptoms of either of these please call your local pharmacy.

Practice Nurses

baby_in_pinkThe Practice Nurses see patients for routine blood pressure, contraceptive check, asthma and diabetes checks, immunisations, blood tests, cervical smears as well as dietary advice, ear syringing, smoking cessation, new patient medicals, ECG test and doppler leg assessment.

Travel advice is also available.  Charges may be applicable as this is not an NHS service.  Please leave plenty of time in which to get your travel vaccinations before you travel.

Health Care Assistants see patients for routine blood pressure checks, blood tests, dietary advice, ECG.

 

Primary Care Counselling Service

Referrals are made via the GPs.
